Membership Guidelines

The founder of this museum, Mokichi Okada advocated that the ideal world of eternal peace should be filled with perfect truth, virtue, and beauty. In promoting his concept of “the creation of civilization”, he encouraged “Arts & Culture Activities”, “Nature Farming”, and “Purifying Therapy”. MOA Museum of Art, therefore, is promoting a wide range of art and cultural activities which not only include art exhibitions but flower arrangements, cha-no-yu tea ceremony, stage performances, an annual International Children's Art Exhibition , among many others.

MOA Museum of Art Membership Benefits

Benefit 1 – Free Admission

Members receive Free Admission to MOA Museum of Art(Atami) and Hakone Museum of Art for one full year by showing their membership card. Additionally, 4 free admission tickets are given to each member.

Benefit 2 – Discount on Events, Shopping, and Meal

We offer members discounts on the Museum Noh Performances, Tea Ceremonies, and Traditional Art Performances, and Concerts. 5% Discount applies in all museum shops , restaurants and cafes (including Tea Houses).

Benefit 3 – Museum Event & Activity Information

We distribute members bulletins quarterly with event information.

Benefit 4 – Members-Only Room

(With Reservation) Members-Only Room is available for members with reservation. Please use the room with your companies for your visit.

Benefit 5 – Invitations to our Art Tours

We draw members by lottery and invite to the Art Tours which we sponsor.
