Explanation
This mirror is of a typical style made during the Warring States period. It is thin, raised slightly at the outer edge and has a central knob marked with three stripes. It has design of three small dragon-like snakes (huilong). The body of each animal has scroll patterns in shallow relief against the plain background. Similar designs are often found on bronze vessels from the Warring States period.
