[Important] Warning Regarding Impersonation Accounts on Social Media

Thank you for your continued support of the MOA Museum of Art.

We have confirmed the existence of "impersonation accounts" (fake accounts) on social media platforms (specifically Threads) that are falsely claiming to be our museum.

These fake accounts are using our logo, address, and official website URL without authorization. They have been sending direct messages (DMs) to artists with fraudulent offers, such as "digitizing or tokenizing your artwork." Please be aware that these accounts are in no way affiliated with the MOA Museum of Art.

Our official social media account is as follows. Any other accounts are unofficial and unaffiliated with us.

3. Important Reminders and Requests

If you receive a suspicious DM:

  • Do not access any URLs included in the message. Please delete the DM immediately.

  • Do not reply or provide any personal information.

  • To prevent further damage, please block the account and report it as "impersonation" through the social media platform’s reporting tools.

We appreciate your cooperation and ask that you remain vigilant against these fraudulent activities.
