Explanation
This is the most striking masterpiece among Hokusai’s Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji. More commonly known as “The Red Fuji”, it expresses the lasting grandeur and vigor of this famous mountain by the simple tricolors of indigo, green and reddish brown. The scene shows Mt.
