MOA Museum of Art offers a special experience program which allows participants to sample the finest of Japanese culture.
A rich variety of 100% fine silk kimonos await you in the Noh Theater backstage, where you are dressed up in one of them and step onto the noh stage, a once in a lifetime photo opportunity for you.
You can carry on visiting the museum galleries and gardens in kimono. Why not savor a refreshing bowl of matcha at Ippaku-an?

Programs

Part 1: Select a kimono in the backstage room of the Noh Theater

Part 2: Dress up in kimono (approx. 15 min.)

Part 4: Have a break with matcha in the Japanese garden (@Ippaku-an)

Part 5: Explore the museum
*Please return to the Noh Theater before 15:30 to allow us to help you undress the kimono.

The price is inclusive of the museum admission and matcha tea.
