Overview
Let’s pick up a map and go for a walk with a cute cork doggy from England!
You and a cork doggy will enjoy browsing the museum and the museum garden! Take a lot of pictures, share and cherish the photos with other people!

Date:5/19 (Sat.) & 5/20 (Sun.) 11:00~15:00 (the last register by 14:00)
*The event may be cancelled in case of rain.
Age: Elementary school students and their guardians
Recruitment Numbers: For first 20 pairs arrivals on the day.
(*Quantities of the cork doggies are limited.)
Charge: Free (No reservation is necessary.)
*Please bring your camera phone if you have one. If you don’t, the museum will offer free rental instant camera. (Quantities are limited.)
*Amount of time require for the event is about 1 hour. Participants will be provided a museum map, but museum staff shall not accompany participants. Please note that MOA Museum of Art cannot be held responsible for any damage during the event, and the picture data submitted by participants will be disclosed on official SNS and our websites.
Kazuko Morohashi, of Norwich, has created a pack of soft toy sausage dogs to help families find out more about history, geography, art and architecture. The project is aimed at primary school age children and she creates the dogs herself from cork and textiles.

Artist Profile - Kazuko Morohashi
Born in Japan and grown up in the United States. Kazuko Morohashi received her BA in Liberal Studies (Education) from California State University of Long Beach in 2000 before going on to complete her MA in Art and Archaeology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in 2003. She joined the Sainsbury Institute in 2006. She started her activities as a designer and is currently a phD student at the Norwich University of the Arts. Her research focuses on narrative design, learning and design, family learning and heritage learning. She is interested in the role of the family to meditate learning for young children and designs learning tools to aid family communication. She has won Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts, Japan Sign Design Association Award, Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Enterprise, etc.
