Museum Tea Garden Autumn Leaves 2018

Overview

Visitors can enjoy Japan’s gorgeous fall foliage as well as the beautiful Japanese architecture and stone setting in our tea garden. Also please enjoy delicious macha tea and meal while viewing autumn leaves.

 

◆Premium Nights at the museum during the autumn leaves season

*During the following autumn leaves season, the museum business hours are extended to 19:00.

Dates:  11/23 (Fri.), 11/24 (Sat.), and 11/25 (Sun.)

Museum admission will be 500 yen for the entry after 16:30.

The last entry by 18:30.

 

17:30   Museum Tea Garden Light-up

18:00   Mini Concert in the Tea GardenMi (

          Performer:  MiMi (Hammered dulcimer player)

          Venue: Museum Tea Garden in front of Ippaku-an Teahouse

19:00   Museum will be closed

 

◆Museum Tea Garden Guided Tour

We will guide you through the tours to introduce Teahouse Shotei and the inner area of the Korin’s Residence which is not ordinarily open to public.  (Sorry, tours are conducted only in Japanese.)  

Date & Time: 11/17(Sat.), 11/18 (Sun.), 11/23 (Fri.), 11/24 (Sat.), 11/25 (Sun.)

 ①11:00  ②13:30 (up to 15 persons for each tour)

Charge: 1,500 yen (including macha tea and sweets at Ippaku-an Teahouse)

Museum admission is required separately.

Reservation for the tour is required.
