Escalator Entrance
An entrance of the museum is located 60 meters below the main building, and seven flights of escalators, 200 meters in total length, take visitors to the museum. The tunnel is lit in multitude of colors that constantly change, staging a transitional journey to be enjoyed. Midway through the tunnel is the circular hall, presenting Japan's largest kaleidoscopic projection mapping, produced by kaleidoscope artists Mitsuru Yoda and Yuriko Yoda. The escalator passage is installed underground to protect the environment and preserve the scenic beauty in the vicinity.
